Help!

I need to find a new pediatrician's office in Lawrenceville, Snellville or Lilburn. I may be willing to drive to northern Duluth or Suwanee if they're really good. This is what I'm looking for:

  • A real person answers when you call (or a real person within one minute);
  • Separate sick and well child waiting areas;
  • Child is triaged from the waiting area in 15 min or less;
  • Ability to bring multiple children for appointments at the same time or back-to-back;
  • Professional, courteous, time-efficient office staff, nurses and doctors;
  • Doctors and nurses listen to questions and concerns without rushing the parents;
  • Efficient check-out process;
  • Ability to schedule the next appointment after any lapse of time - up to 6 months or a year;
  • At least one male doctor in the practice;
  • Some lab work done in the office (would be nice, but not a make or break thing); and
  • No more than 20 min drive from my house.
Please help me out if you know or have heard of a practice meeting these requirements. Since having children the only place like this one has been Bulloch Pediatrics in Statesboro. They were awesome. I haven't found another practice like this one since moving. :-(

Try Northlake Pediatrics. I used them when my children were young and was always treated us wonderfully. Dr. Tennebaum is great.

We used to go to Bi-County Gwinnett Pediatrics. They have most of what you need, other than the less than 15-minute waiting time (I've never been to a place with that, except at Kaiser offices). But they're close by, right at the intersection of 5 forks and killian hill... here's their number: 770-923-6400.

I feel your pain - I drive 45-50 minutes for our pediatrician because he's exactly what we were looking for in all areas except the drive, lol! But its a worthwhile sacrifice to find a good practice that you like. Hopefully you'll find one, too!

We ♥ Gwinnett Peds....they have a Lawrenceville office, too. It's next to Gwinnett Medical. They meet most of your list. :0)

We ♥ Gwinnett Peds, they have a Lawrenceville office next to the hospital. They meet your requirements, except for the waiting thing. Well-checks don't have a long waiting time, but sick visits do sometimes. Just part of it!

We love Gwinnett Pediatrics, too. Andrew went to Dr. Roberts when he was just a few days old. He actually went today, too, for a sick visit and was out of the waiting room in less than 5 minutes. And the doctor took about 15min but she came when I took Eli the bathroom, so it was actually sooner, I just missed her.

The last few times we went we weren't in the waiting room long at all.

We do same visit checks and they flex with me on the dates (Aug and Dec birthdays so we meet in them middle)

Good luck!
