Given what we know and understand from all things godly, holy, right, just, gracious and pure, revealed by God's Word, Christ our Righteousness and convicted upon our conscience by the Spirit of Truth, I suppose that the difference between theory and practice is first faith then disciplined obedience that arises out of faith. I guess it's part of that unresolved tension, but not of things physical, but of things spiritual. The desire to grasp things from above while the world and the sin nature pull us ever downward. Truly "all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God".
Oh, that sanctification happened about a million times faster!
