Here is a picture of the first red bell pepper from our garden! The color is so bright and pretty - Jeramy and I had to take a picture. It took quite a while for the color to change from green to yellow to finally a brilliant red.
Also, our yellow banana peppers are finally having a chance to ripen from green to yellow. They're supposed to turn yellow in the cool temperature of the morning, but our deck holds the heat from day to day. Since the temps have been cooling lately in general, ripening is occurring!
Jeramy is a great farmer and we have thoroughly enjoyed the abundance of tomatoes, jalapenos, cilantro, basil, green bell peppers, and okra. All of the rewards are worth the work.
