Moriah

Moriah turned 23 months yesterday! I can't believe that she will be two years old next month! Here she is wearing her Dad's straw hat.

She has really come a long way with her speech and language this past month. Any word we say to her that she doesn't know, she repeats it back to us - even 3 syllable words, like "dangerous" and "rectangle." We're still teaching her that 1 through 10 represents a number. We're counting Cheerios at the breakfast table. Colors are still a little difficult for her. She is also learning directions (left, right, up and down) and shapes. She knows all the animals and what they say: even a rooster and a snake! I'm really amazed at how much she has learned this past month!

She still tests her limits and my patience, but she's obedient in public and that's what counts. :-) She's doing better sitting in church for the entire service. Doing flashcards, helping out and going outside are her favorite things. We've put a hold on potty training and we'll pick it back up shortly. We're very blessed to have her with us. :-)

She's adorable, Jeramy and Megan. She has the kind of face that just lights up a room. You are blessed, indeed.
