Green Light: House

Well, we had a wild night last night. While we were continuing the waiting game, there was a big push by the Bank to get all the paperwork done and closed before the end of the business day. At 3:15 we were told to be at the closing attorney's office in Alpharetta at 4:00p.m. Traffic was bad, of course, so we didn't get there until 4:45. The Sellers, also Andersons, and our Realtor, Mike Robinson, arrived about 15 minutes later. Once we got there the attorney told us that our paperwork package had not arrived, neither had a closer been assigned, nor was it going to be funded until Monday. If our package did not arrive until 6:00pm then we would have to wait to close on Monday (if there was an open appointment).

So we waited and it finally arrived at 5:58 p.m. Then the attorney prepared the paperwork and we sat down to sign at 6:45 p.m. We got the keys. :-D

So today, we've been moving. Jeramy and I still have a lot to clean at our townhouse, but we'll get it knocked out very soon!
